CONTINUED- At 34, Brendan was
appointed national communications manager with one of the nation's
largest agribusiness retailers, where he managed a communication program worth more than
$2m annually. In that role, he initiated several corporate
films, TV commercials and documentaries, kindling a new appreciation
of the film medium.
In the year 2000, aged 40,
Brendan opted for self-employment and began offering media,
advertising and film production services to the rural health, safety
and agribusiness sectors via his communication consultancy, The
Guerin Group. He has 30
producer credits, mainly for television commercials, shorts, corporate films and
documentaries, and is now developing several documentaries with
broadcast potential. He is a
professional member of the Screen Producers Association of Australia.
